Aluminum Bangle Bracelet

This is the first ever bracelet I made. Its made from an old power cable I found in my dads shop. Its a 5 strand quintuple braid hammer and shaped. No heat treating, no sanding, no soldering. Just a hammer and a thin clear coat. I still wear it 5 years later.

I ended up making about 3 of those in total all slightly different. They are some the easiest things to make but also some of the most rewarding. If you want to make a piece that catches the eye, looks impressive but really doesn’t take that much skill or time? This project is for you. Will it be perfect? No. Of course not. Look closely, mine is FAR from perfect. I was learning. Still am actually! But ill let you in on a little secret. You will always see 99% of the flaws in your own piece. Most people you show, will maybe see 10%. So don’t get discouraged with a piece that isn’t up to your standards. That’s been my story since the first pieces I made. Let me tell you, it is far from rewarding.
